Bushwalk through Deer Park

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

Meet at the top end of Sutherland Council Swimming Pool at 9:25am.  Here, if feasible, we will reduce the number of vehicles we take into the National Park - there is a fee for each vehicle.

We will then drive in convey out to a picnic area near Southwest Arm and commence our walk through Deer Park.  There will be some mild up hills and at times will be on old disused tracks and off track.  The walk is not arduous and there will be plenty of time to stop and perhaps learn some history of the area.

Bring drinks, snacks, lunch, sun protection and wear suitable clothing and footwear.

If only mild rain we will go anyway.  If heavy rain we will probably cancel. Preceding torrential rain will no doubt flood the weir and end the plan.

Please let Jim know if your coming -> provide contact number.... otherwise if your running a little late we will not know to wait and if we cancel you will not know.
